Actions overview
Actions are a function within the Glances platform that empower users to complete tasks in other apps without needing to navigate away from the current web app, platform, or webpage they are working in. One example of using Actions is, you can stay working in your CRM or email platform and use Glances to simultaneously create a new QuickBooks invoice for a customer. All of this is rapidly achieved without the traditional process of tab-switching over to your QuickBooks app, logging in, then finding the customer’s profile page to handle the task.
3 levels of Actions
1. Dashboard-level Actions can be completed from the My Daily Glances dashboard. These Actions are not dependent on viewing a specific record or Glance. Example: sending a Clustdoc application to an email, who may or may not be a contact in one of your apps already.
2. Contact-level Actions can be completed once you search for a specific contact. These Actions are completed for a specific contact. Example: creating a new QuickBooks invoice for the specific contact.
3. Record-level Actions can be completed after searching for a specific contact and selecting a specific record associated with a contact. Example: sending a specific QuickBooks invoice that has already been created.
