If you rely on FreshBooks accounting software as one of your connected apps with Glances, your repetitive workday tasks are about to get much easier. Our development team recently launched a new Glances Action: the ability to create FreshBooks estimates while using any other app, in one simple click. We understand that invoices are an equally important part of the sales and support process, so we are close to deploying an action for creating FreshBooks invoices as well.
In this article, we will cover what Glances Actions are, plus provide step-by-step directions for creating FreshBooks estimates using the Glances no-code integration platform.

How to create FreshBooks estimates and invoices using Glances
Once you connect FreshBooks with Glances, you will be able to easily create new estimates (and invoices too). After entering a contact’s name or email in the Glances Search tab, locate the Action menu in the top right corner. Here’s how it looks using a monday.com account that has been connected to Glances.

Click the Action menu icon to open your options and select FreshBooks Estimate. In the dropdown menu, you can select an option from your available FreshBooks items and services.

From there, you can select or edit fields like description, unit price, quantity, and more options to customize the estimate. Click Create Estimate to save your work. From the Glances Search tab, open your FreshBooks Customers Estimates Glance. You will notice the new estimate and details have been freshly saved for easy reference at any time.

Outside of creating estimates and invoices, you can glance at the following data categories within any app, platform, or webpage you are working in when FreshBooks is connected to Glances:
- List of FreshBooks invoices per customer
- List of FreshBooks estimates per customer
- List of FreshBooks expenses per customer
- List of FreshBooks projects
