Product Update: Glances Browser Extension Goes into Full-Power Mode

Glances Suite just got even more powerful
Did you know Glances was first conceptualized and built as a browser extension? Over the last two years, our talented team of developers went to work expanding the no-code integration platform into the go-to hub for your customer insights and personal tasks that you rely on today. This work included building out the additional formats that complete the Glances Suite, such as the desktop app, web app, mobile site, and integration for standalone apps like Slack.
This week, we’re excited to announce the latest product update, which seriously changes the game for professionals that love the proactive, data-stamping abilities of the browser extension. Now the Glances browser extension has a fresh look and improved user experience, which mirrors the full-powered functionality as the current desktop app, web app, and mobile site. Keep reading as we walk you through the features that are new to the browser extension and why this update will further boost productivity for you and your team.

New! View the My Daily Glances tab to see your upcoming meetings and personal tasks.
As you multitask actions in different web applications during your workday, this Glances feature will always be there to show you what’s next on your to-do list. Here’s what it looks like when working in Mailchimp and checking on a related email marketing task in Asana.

New! Use the Glances Search tab to search and view your customer insights.
Get started by entering any contact’s name or email address in the top search bar. Then, watch the Glances magic unfold as any related data from your collection of connected apps is ready to access in one convenient view, in real time. Get the A-to-Z story on each customer without tab switching or leaving the platform you are currently working in.
Using the same Mailchimp view as an example below, see what it’s like to check on a customer’s Zendesk ticket. Click to collapse the customer’s Zendesk data, then choose to see more relevant information in Mailchimp and Intercom, such as the same customer’s email campaigns received and recent chat conversations.

Glancey will proactively ‘stamp’ emails on the webpage you are viewing, indicating data is available.
Think of Glancey as your data-finding sidekick, always searching for valuable information to help you save time during your workday. When you see an orange ‘g’ next to an email address, click on it to view available data on that contact within the Glances browser extension.

Click the Glances widget in the bottom right corner to open or close the browser extension.
Sometimes you need Glances open at all times, other times you need to focus on the full screen of platform you are working in. Use the widget to control your view as you work in your various business apps throughout your day. The full Glances Suite works with you, where and how you prefer to work.
