New Glance Alert: Search Your Google Drive Folders by Customer Name

This week, Glances and Google just got even greater. Our development team rolled out a new Glance to help you quickly search and find folders within Google Drive that contain specific customer and/or client names. Since many businesses choose to organize their folders by client name, this helpful Glance will ensure you and your teammates get right to important customer folders and assets while using any application or visiting any webpage. How to search and find your Google Drive folders by name

In the demo screenshots below, Glances user Chad is working in monday.com and has clicked the orange ‘g’ stamp next to an email address for customer Jill Mahomes. This action has quickly opened the Glances browser extension showing the customer’s related data across all connected apps. Alternatively, Chad could also use the Glances Search tab to enter Jill’s name and pull up the same view. With this update, he can now see the Google Drive Folders Glance specifically related to Jill. The notification number in red makes him aware there are 2 files within this customer’s folder available for viewing and opening.

After clicking on the Google Drive Folders Glance, it expands so Chad can review the files within the customer’s folder. He can click on any file to immediately open it in Google Drive, review it, and make any changes as needed.

That’s all it takes. In about 30 seconds, Chad has found and opened this customer’s Google Drive Folder and files all while continuing to work in his preferred platform, monday.com. Whether his workday takes him to Zendesk, Salesforce, or Mailchimp, Chad can continue to search for his client’s Google Drive folders and files while working anywhere online.
